Who we are and what we do
We are a student association founded in 2023, that focuses on the construction and development of experimental rockets. We are a group of over 60 students from the University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen and Justus Liebig University Giessen who are passionate about bringing our projects to life.
Our focus is on the long-term construction and development of model and experimental rockets, with the goal of competing in international competitions such as the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC). In doing so, we acquire comprehensive knowledge in areas including simulation methods, electronics, dealing with various materials and rocket safety.
Another goal is to learn structured and scientific working methods. We aim to foster an interest in space exploration and place great emphasis on scientific communication among students, both within the field of study and, in particular, across disciplines with other specialist areas. We place a strong focus on practical and professional skills development.
The goal is to build flyable rockets, with which the club can participate in national and international competitions and develop a deeper understanding of rocket construction.
